before your day.

We want every celebration at The OT Farms to feel beautiful, organized, and relaxed. These guidelines help protect the venue, support your vendors, and keep the day running smoothly.

Booking & Payments

Reserving your date

Securing your celebration is straightforward. These details help you know what to expect as your wedding approaches.

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date.
  • The remaining 50% is due 30 days prior to your event date.
  • A refundable $500 damage waiver fee is also due 30 days prior to your event date.

Catering & Food

Food service at the barn

We welcome the caterer you choose — and we’re happy to point you toward vendors who already know the property well.

  • Couples may choose their own caterer.
  • The OT Farms can provide a list of caterers who have worked at the barn before.
  • If couples supply their own food, it must be prepared offsite.
  • Food and beverages must be set up, served, and consumed in the Lower Barn or outdoors only.
  • Chafing dishes and gel fuel (Sterno) are permitted.
  • Roasters and crockpots are not permitted.

Alcohol Guidelines

Serving responsibly

Alcohol is welcome at The OT Farms. A few simple guidelines help keep the evening safe and enjoyable for everyone.

  • Alcohol is permitted.
  • A licensed and insured bartender is required.
  • The bar must close 30 minutes before the end of the event.

Setup & Timing

Your event-day timeline

Weekend packages include time to settle in, celebrate, and wrap up without feeling rushed.

  • Wedding setup may begin at 10:00 AM on Day 1 for weekend packages.
  • Tables and chairs must be set up by the wedding party or designated helpers.
  • The OT Farms staff will clean up tables and chairs after your event.
  • Events have a maximum 6.5-hour event window.
  • The last song or DJ must stop no later than 6.5 hours from the ceremony start time.
  • Saturday events must conclude by 11:00 PM.
  • Sunday events must conclude by 9:30 PM.
  • Cleanup helpers have one hour after the event concludes to clear personal items.

Decorating

Styling your celebration

We love seeing couples make the barn their own — these guidelines help protect the space while you bring your vision to life.

  • No open flames in the barn.
  • Battery-operated candles are permitted.
  • If aisle petals are used, they must be real, not synthetic.
  • Aisle petals must be picked up after use.
  • No glitter in the barn.
  • If a candy bar is offered, all individual candies must be wrapped.
  • No loose candies such as Skittles or M&Ms that guests need to bag themselves.

Venue Policies

  • The OT Farms is a non-smoking facility.
  • Smoking, vaping, or tobacco use must be limited to designated areas.
  • The barn has heat for year-round use.
